Dr. Kersti Francis (they/she) is Assistant Professor of Medieval Literature and Culture at Trinity University, where they work on queer and trans theory, the history of science, and premodern literature. Prior to joining the faculty at Trinity, Kersti was a postdoctoral member of Boston University’s Society of Fellows and a Visiting Scholar in Medieval Studies at Harvard University.

Kersti is also a writer, editor, and historical consultant for video games, film, and other media. They welcome historical consulting and public history opportunities related to medieval and early modern alchemy, magic, folklore, medicine, gender, religion, and everyday life.
